Her and two others are entrusted with the fate of the clan and the cats who thrive within it. Several generations after the war between StarClan and the Place of No Stars, a new prophecy arises that devastation will come and divide the Clans forever, but Whisperleaf is worried that the prophecy will divide StarClan again as well. No one seems to have any idea what the prophecy means: their only clues are visions of death and fire, while one cat is haunted by dreams of battles taking place far away.

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
