Newly married Lauren 'Smith' is as happy as can be following her beautiful wedding. Everything is going perfect, until her husband starts acting weirdly. His temper just gets higher and higher, until one day he snaps. He hits her. Convinced it's just a phase, Lauren doesn't tell anyone. She shuts herself off, ignores her friends and quits her job.
