The city is quiet, and Batman can no longer distract himself from his own thoughts. Subsequently, the vigilante realizes that the only person he can reach out to about his depression is the one who caused it in the first place.

The Joker is Batman's greatest enemy, but he can't help but (subconsciously) wish for it to be a little something more. To get his mind off Batman, Haley suggests the Joker go out and meet someone. And who does he run into but Bruce Wayne himself! He'll have to deal with coming too terms with his complicated relationship with Batman while attempting (and failing) to deny his emerging feelings for Bruce. When all is said and done, he'll have to choose between the two. Won't he? --------------------------------------------------- Batman and the Joker are greatest enemies, but Batman feels like hatred isn't really the right word for what he's feeling. While contemplating how to deal with the confusing situation, he runs into the Joker, but as Bruce Wayne. Batman soon realizes that this is exactly the way he can have a proper relationship with the Joker without ruining their current one. But as time passes, he's more and more reluctant to fight the Joker, and with his behavior changes, he might end upon blowing his cover and losing the protection of his alter ego forever.

Bruce Wayne goes undercover in the Joker's gang to learn more about him and find out his plans. Joker seems to take an interest in him immediately. Can he handle all that he learns from both being around the Clown Prince of Crime and Arkham tapes he has or will he start losing his own sanity in the process. Humanity is going through changes. Change one made a little less than a third of the population dual sexed (hermephrodites), change two made a virus break out which threatens Gotham and the rest of the world, turning people into flesh eating monsters, and change three is being warily awaited. Bruce Wayne takes in Harley and joker for the finishing of their rehab a few months after change one. Change two complicates things with the three.
