It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. Meeting the young Lady Saira, his life becomes more exited. Since Saira isn't aware that she befriended the future Fire Lord, Iroh uses this opportunity of having a normal life. This story takes places before the first book of Legend of Korra and during all four books and maybe after that too. Since there are not enough FFs with General Iroh, I've decided to write a story by myself with my own ideas rules.
