I lived in denial for months by telling myself that it was "nothing serious," just something I was doing to make myself feel special, or for the sake of having a dramatic secret. By participating in this campaign by the new Netflix series "To the Bone," I'm honored to share how I came to terms with my mental illness for what it really was, and I hope to reach girls who might be telling themselves something similar.
