It's November 7th, 2000. A girl name Kacee Evans moves away from her home in Oklahoma all the way to Belleville, New Jersey to get away from her abusive family but mostly from her father to have a better life. What she doesn't know she finds the love of her life the first day in Belleville.

Gerard Way. He's always haunted by his title- the photographer's son. He's new in town and it's only a coincidence that his father owns a photography and development shop. Then Frank Iero pops into his life unexpectedly, scaring Gerard, causing him to spill his photos everywhere. His oath that he would only take one picture of the same person is broken. As their friendship grows, so does Gerard's collection. Best part is, is that Gerard is as oblivious as it gets. He journals everything that happens, including his nights with Frank. I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! That's mine, the string must've broken loose." I heard a voice. I saw feet at first. Yellow converse shoes. Then I saw pants. Black jeans. Then I saw a jacket. A green camo military jacket, not real obviously. Then I saw tattooed hands holding a coffee cup. They were red, most likely freshly washed. Then I met eyes with the person before me. I dropped the necklace and gasped loudly, holding back a shocked scream. The person's face fell, eyes going wide. They took a step back and then a cautious one forward. "Gerard?" They whispered. "Frank..." ~HAS BEEN REWRITTEN. CHECK OUT BORN TO LOSE 2.0---- The boy hadn't even seen Gerard coming towards him until Gerard stepped on a fallen branch, making a 'crunch' sound. Gerard screamed a silent 'fuck' in his head as the boy's tear streaked face snapped up, locking eyes with Gerard's. His intense hazel eyes held so many emotions it was hard for Gerard to distinguish whether the boy was doing this out of anger or sadness, "Go away," the words were laced with venom but they also shook with emotion so strong that Gerard wanted to cry as well.

After a failed suicide attempt, Frank Iero is placed into an induced coma to prevent any further self harm. While he's asleep, he's visited by what he believes is an angel who sings to him. When Frank finally awakens, it becomes his obsession to find who the voice belongs to. [[Trigger Warning! Suicide-- do not take this warning lightly. Suicide is a main theme.
