To the world he was a beast but for her he would do anything. He could have the world but all he wanted was her. They say the things we want most are the things we can't have. For she was so afraid of him that even the thought of him could have her running for the hills. Little did she know that she was the only one who didn't have to be afraid of him. They even have the infamous saying "Shoot for the moon; even if you do not succeed, you will be among stars." But no one ever dreams of what happens, if you actually meet the things that come from the stars and if it is, they can only imagine little green martians. It's just never thought about. Madelyn Waters, eighteen, is not your typical high schooler. She is willing to test her morals to no extent in order to have this man, while unintentionally discovering that buried deep within her soul is a girl who simply wants to be loved. She learns of love, rejection, and most of all, she discovers herself, while also igniting an illicit affair.
