So, without even knowing exactly what his new job is going to be Mitch decides to pack his stuff and dive right into the adventure that brings him closer to Scott than he could've ever wished for.

*FIRST BOOK IN DIFFERENT SERIES* Being abandoned for being different makes you wonder why you couldn't be like everyone else. It makes you wonder why you couldn't be normal.

Everyone was the same. You wake up, change into the same outfit, and then go to school. Society made you all equal, so no person was different from another. If you were strange, you were diagnosed as a Different. For everyone was to wear the same things, act the same, and love the same. A normal person would fall in love after they were twenty to someone of the opposite gender. Marriages were considered a hassle, so you would not have a ceremony, just decide if you wanted to be married or not. Once married, there was no divorcing. For if you were not normal, you'd be coded. Normals wear white, Differents wear black.

Scott had promised Mitch he wasn't going to make any decisions without talking to him but after Mitch had come back to LA from Christmas break and Scott didn't follow, Mitch knew things would change. For a Month they tried to keep touch, but after a while, Mitch didn't know what to say and Scott didn't seem too interested in his life anymore. They spent almost two years without talking. What happens when Mitch finds out that Scott's mom has been sick the whole time? Will he leave his life in LA to be there for Scott? Will be updating every day in December. Contains mature content.
