A storm, and a young woman is running through the forest near Lescatie, and is holding a baby in her arms. She comes across Sasha Fullmoon's Mamono Orphanage. She places the baby, leaving a note. She then runs back towards the city. The baby wakes up, and squirms, poking one of his little blacked scales forearms out of the confines of the blanket.

He is dead. He died by the hands of the chosen undead. And now the only thing he could see was darkness, eternal darkness, spreading as far as the eye can see. Was he in the Abyss? Was he on his way to to heaven? If he was going to heaven, why isn't there any light, he wondered. Until a bright light swallowed all the darkness.
