We don't know what happened. Some say she was kidnapped, others think she ran away. We were definite she was gone. She would have reached out to us if she wasn't. Boy, were we wrong.

The sequel to Saving Maya hart, I recommend reading that first for a better understanding of the story but It's not exactly necessary. In this story we see Maya go back to school for the first time in over a year. We see how the fight with Missy in the woods has affected Maya, her family and friends emotionally. But will we see them get better?
