Louis moves into a flat while he’s at university, his next-door neighbour, Harry, who he’s never seen is rather loud at night. Louis confronts him about said noise and the two start to chat through the rather thin wall between their bedrooms. Will they ever meet, and if they do… what could ensue for the both of them?

When Harry was little, he hated living in Oak Hollow. It was a stuck-up neighborhood in the suburbs full of broken families and white picket fences. But then, on a hot Summer day, a strange boy wearing heart-shaped sunglasses moves in across the street.

A few times- or at least once in your life, you'll find yourself in a situation where a certain someone catches your eye- yet, you never seem to catch theirs. Your adoration grows in silence, invisible to that significant individual. As cliché as it sounds, Louis Tomlinson has been in this frustrating position for three years, and now he's 3 months away from kissing high school goodbye. Though high school is almost coming to an end, his feelings for a certain guy hasn't gone away since freshmen year. Other than the occasional "Hi", the two never really crossed paths often. Fame, fortune, and all the girls he could want. But behind hidden doors, he's broken. He's broken on the inside and no amount of love or patience could fix him. When he can't turn to his family, and he can't turn to the boys, he needs to find a place to vent his anger and depression. He starts a blog on a website called Tumblr, where no one knows who he is. No one can expect you to be a womanizer or role model if they don't know you're actually Harry Styles. Louis has no clue why Harry has been in his room a lot. He has no clue why Harry's always wearing tight skinny jeans instead of the baggy ones he knew the curly boy loved. But what happens when Louis walks in to ask Harry a question and finds the boy's Tumblr open? How is he supposed to handle this? Not only is his best mate living a secret online life, but he is suffering depression and has been hurting himself in so many ways. Louis can't confront him, so he does what he thinks is the right thing. He starts a blog, and starts messaging Harry anonymously. Harry seems a bit cheerier in the morning, and even starts smiling again. But what happens when they fall in love with each other, but Harry doesn't know that "CleverUsername" is actually his best mate? With love, drama, hate, and depression, can anyone ever be happy with the one they love? And most importantly, can Louis learn how to save a life?

Louis and Harry were changing, everyone could see it, you had to be blind not to. The fans, modest and the boys, they all knew that Harry and Louis were changing, and not for the better. Ever since that day a few years ago when Louis posted the bullshit tweet about Larry, Harry has been avoiding him. Louis tried to figure out why bu the older lad wouldn't tell him. He would simply just wave Louis away and tell him that he was fine. But he wasn't. Harry was slowly breaking inside. You see, Harry loved Louis, he still does. All that Larry stuff, it wasn't a joke to him, it was all real. In fact he was planning on telling Louis about his feeling that night, but after he read the tweet he knew that he couldn't. Louis had eventually given up on Harry and decided to spend more time with Eleanor, which in turn only hurt Harry more. Will Louis finally realize what he is doing to his former best friend? Will Harry ever build the courage to tell Louis about his feelings? And how will the rest of the boys help their friends in their struggle to find a little bit of happiness?

They couldn't be more different if they tried. Louis Tomlinson is 17 years old and in his last year of the most prestigious private school in Doncaster, before then he's off to Uni. He has big plans for his future, and thanks to his parent's money he will have no problem achieving them. Everyone who attends his school knows him thanks to his incredibly rich family, sassy attitude and gorgeous girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. If there's one thing that completely annoys him, it's that there is a community college right across the street from St. Mark's Private School, and he has to look at the poor, totally inappropriate students that go there. Harry Styles is 19 years old, and (once again) in his last year of college. He goes to Doncaster's community college, just because the Holmes Chapel comprehensive expelled him twice in the span of two years, so he and his family had to move to another town. He has no future because he never shows up to classes and if he actually bothers to, he's either high or drunk; sometimes both. His skin is littered with tattoos and if there's one thing he absolutely hates, it's the snobby students attending the private school right across from his, who think they're better than anyone just because their parents have money. When they meet, Louis is nothing but disgusted by the tattooed boy, and Harry can't help but laugh at the innocent yet sassy boy with blue eyes and amazing arse.
