I thought about the odds now. Maybe they weren't so great, but after all I had been through, I knew something had to be in my favor. Noah Albedo was perfectly fine with her life, avoiding the people she didn't like, spending time with the people she did. But her entire future is derailed when her name is called at the Reaping Ceremony. Now she'll have to face an unforgiving arena, a sadistic district partner, twenty-two other teenagers and cameras surrounding her at all times as she enters the 25th Hunger Games. Oh the odds. Before Katniss there was me. Before The Girl on Fire there was The Girl Alive. Before the District 12 volunteer there was a stupid little tribute from 10.Before the 74th Hunger Games there was the 69th. My Hunger Games.My name is Aria Moulson and I won the 69th Hunger Games 6 years ago. I was the first Mockingjay. Trust me I never wanted to be. I never wanted to start a rebellion I just wanted to get in and out. But, the people of Panem had a different idea. They saw me as the light in the darkness. They saw me as their way out of President Snow's wrath. They saw me as their Mockingjay. Why they saw me as the Mockingjay? It was because I was the first tribute to ever speak out about the Capitol's tyranny. A moment of weakness in the games and it cost me a lifetime of pain and suffering. But now I'm going back for the 3rd Quarter Quell and this time, I'm taking the Capitol down with me. I'll give them a show. I'll give the people something to fight for.
