What if Tris really met Tobias when he kidnapped her, out of a broken heart? That's what happens 2 years before Tris becomes a Dauntless.

What if Tris and Tobias chose Abnegation instead of Dauntless? What if they were never trained to be soldiers for the city? What if no one found out about their Divergence? Everyone inside the city belongs to a faction. Amity- the peaceful. Abnegation- the selfless. Candor- the honest. Erudite- the smart. And Dauntless- the brave. At the age of 16, every citizen must either defect from, or stay in their faction of birth, and live there for the rest of their life.
