So the day her class went on a trip to China, she prays to the dear old lord, that Alya doesn't kill her. Oh, and the fact that she has some old friends in China and maybe one of them is a past crush. Opps. Marinette's class got chosen to go to England and stay in the palace with THE Queen for a whole year. The reason? Her class won an acting competition. The competition required each class to make a play about what they think Ladybug and Chat Noir's daily life would be like. Mr. Adrien Agreste got the role of Chat Noir. Marinette Dupain-Cheng got the role as Ladybug. Chloé, being the mean snobby brat she was, tried to protest that she was a better Ladybug but got declined by the teachers thankfully.
