It's been months since Shae's disappearance and now it's Mitchell's turn to be at the mercy of the monster's claws. It's been two months now since she left. Evaporated from the earth like rain, disappearing without a trace. Guilt eats away at me for I was the one who was constantly pushing her, trying to keep her sane. But lately, I can't help but feel that perhaps maybe, just maybe, something else was at play. Something sinister and vile, and it all started with the blue rose placed at my doorstep.

Angela simply doesn't know that it is only the beginning and maybe the path would lead her even deeper into the darkness, but not that kind of darkness she thought of. By trying to put her life in order, she only messes up things more. Weird coincidences bring her from one point to another. She started having strange dreams. Some people on the street look at her a funny way. And to add to those problems, she doesn't know where she belongs and with whom. Her head tells her one thing, but her heart tells her otherwise. Her life is simply a mess. Her dreams keep getting weirder and weirder that she started question her own sanity and speculate if any of her dreams are really dreams. Besides, after all strange occurences and déjà vu moments life around her goes on as if nothing ever happened. How is it even possible? Unless, of course she is connected to the other world in a very direct way. But how exactly she is connected when something dark started awaking inside of her and she knows for sure that her heart is pure and kind.

When one hears the word Immortal, you automatically assume that they never die. That's not entirely true. You see, the word is used so loosely nowadays that everyone just assumes that immortality means to escape death - to cheat death. When in reality, they can die from being staked in the heart. Sometimes they die from being staked with wood from a sacred tree. Holy water; It either burns them - acting as a substitute for Sulfuric Acid - or it sets them on fire and they turn to ash within a matter of seconds. Consecrated grounds--Vampires cannot step foot on them, it's considered holy - virginal, and the dead (or rather undead) are tainted and unable to gain entrance without spontaneously combusting . Does one ever wonder if a "true Immortal" exists? What if he does exist? What if no stake could penetrate his skin, and what if the effects of holy water can't turn his undead, earthly body to ash. As far as decapitation goes... well, let's just say the owner of the weapon always lost their head. Undefeatable, unable to be killed, unable to be hurt. A true immortal walks the earth in search of the answers to the mysterious prophecy etched on the cave walls, and how to put an end to the curse he's rapidly spread around the world. Follow Caen Tomes as he sets about on a journey that will forever change his once human life, into a truly immortal one, and the world as you know it. A prophecy to be fulfilled, questions needing answers, an end to the curse that plagues him, and a fight to the death. Caen will never be the same again. Nor will the world.

I am his salvation. I'm just like any other human being who doesn't want attention. Though that's already impossible with my weird eyes which others find fascinating and I deem annoying. My life is perfectly normal. Well, that's before I'm abducted by a group of salivating monsters with red eyes and rather long canines. They are led by a man who looks as beautiful as an angel, but as hot and sexy as a devil. If he isn't frowning, which he always is. He needs me for the sake of his kind and most especially, for the safety of humanity. He claims he will protect me until I fulfill my part. I doubt him, though, since he's given me nothing but greedy stares...
