Love, fear, friendship, uncertainty: the four cardinal points on which MC's life revolves since she joined the attempts to find Hannah. Fascination, trepidation, hope, concern: the four emotions that have taken over Jake's life since he met MC. Anger, affection, sadness, trust, fear, determination, revenge, rage, guilt: the mixture of sensations that has transformed the lives of a group of friends who seek to recover what was taken from them. This story is based on the game Duskwood, by Everbyte Studio, taking as a reference the end of Episode 9. It's my way of thanking the Everbyte team for a game that I found excellent, and at the same time, it can keep us entertained while we wait for the tenth (and last?) episode. I hope you like it! ***Btw: English is not my native language, so feel free to suggest any improvements I can make, it would help me a lot 🙂 And that's it, let's pick up the story where we left off! --- *DISCLAIMER: I do not own the characters, except those created by myself. Two months after Hannah was rescued from the mines, Jake still hasn't got in touch with [MC]. She feels confident that something has happened to him. After a surprise visit appears on her doorstep, her journey into a new adventure begins, though. And this time it's on location in Duskwood. Why is [MC] making the journey to Duskwood? What happened to Jake? And why has Hannah disappeared again? *** Trigger warning: This fan fiction, like the game Duskwood on which this story is based, contains sensitive subject matter. I would therefore like to point out that topics such as depression, feelings of guilt, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma and suicidal thoughts are treated. There may also be mild depictions of violence and sex.
