Beckett and Castle take a foster girl into protective custody after she witnesses her foster mom's murder. What they didn't expect is the girl being a lot like the both of them

10 years into the future, Castle and Beckett are still married with two kids. Alexis a lawyer and engaged to her long time boyfriend. Espo a captain of hostage negotiation. Ryan in line for a promotion to Sargent. All these great things, until the text message that changes everything. This story focuses mainly on the Caskett relationship and how far Beckett's job will make her go.

Richard Rodgers just out of highschool is the top Quarterback in the nation, when a heartbreak causes him to decide on a different college he packs up and leaves for Stanford. While there he meets Kate, a shy but strong willed girl. After bonding and getting to know each other Rick questions himself if he's ready to open up his heart again. More so he's given an opportunity that could change his life forever.

First of all, I do not own Private Eyes! Alrighty, on to the fanfic! So, this is basically a retelling of what happens in the first episode of Season 3 of Private Eyes. However, I changed it so that Angie and Matt are married and have a teenage daughter named Lily, (nicknamed Lils). So, there's a bit of a change in terms of the timeline of the show.
