At that, Hongjoong's face instantly mirrored the young spy's own look. The smirk that took over his face was intimidating and reminded Seonghwa that Hongjoong was indeed wild, his eyes sparkling with a dangerous fury. He leaned over the desk and slammed his palm into the map that lay there, the sound echoing through the candle-lit cabin, and licked over his bottom lip with a firm nod of his head. "Aye, it's eternal life." Or: After being promised the adventure of a lifetime, Seonghwa had found himself wondering if this grand adventure is not for him after all. With a combination of heart-wrenching guilt and an underlying tone that the crew doesn't like him, Seonghwa does his best to forget who he was and tries to fit in with this rogue pirate crew who are chasing after a treasure no pirate has ever dared to retrieve before. With a firm promise that this adventure could claim their lives, the outcast pirate crew who roams the vast seas under black sails finds that loyalty will both hold them together and split them far apart.

First, the power went out. Second, it was the water. Then, it was the blaring horns that rang throughout the city. The portable radio they used was all static except for the occasional alarming words that no one truly believed because it was April 1st. The warning was there, they had time to make it out, but Seonghwa learned that it was best to listen to his screaming instincts rather than his roommate who told him it was nothing. A simple sentence was all it was really, words compiled together to form a meaning. Sometimes such meanings were in fact meaningless, they held no truth and were only spoken for the sake of aggravation. This year is like no other, besides the fact that the great pirate king who infuriates Seonghwa to no end might end up shedding a new kind of light on the young and very adventurous prince, changing his views altogether.
