After a terrible tragedy, she travels to Konoha with a blue haired kunoichi. She attends the Ninja Academy and meets classmates like Naruto and Sasuke. A year later, she passes the Genin exam, and gets her hitai-ate (forehead protector). When she gets her hitai-ate, what she knows about her whole life is completely turned inside out. Nothing was what she thought it was, not even what she looked like. Heck, not even her name! This is a story that you could compare to....The Ugly Duckling I guess? This is a story of a speck of Black in a room full of White. Pure against Polluted. But to a small percent, Its a story of a single Red Rose in a field full of Thorns. Or maybe a 'Black Bird' among Supposed 'Angels'. And that is what she truly is. Her name? Kurotadori Pyua or as she prefers to go by...Kuroi.

Being able to see is something everybody takes for granted. Imagine being blind, no colours, no details, patterns, shapes. Mei has to live like this because of a violent past. Upon meeting Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura, Mei realizes that not everybody in the world is cruel. She comes to like the Hidden Leaf village and the people there. More than anything though, her dream is to see. This story was written a long time ago, when I first started writing. Please forgive any errors, but I currently have no plan to re-write this.
