In a Hospital on October 8th, 1984 at 4:03 am, Lorelai (Rory) Leigh Gilmore was born. Exactly 14 minutes later, Hailey Hope Gilmore-Hayden was born. Just 5 weeks after their birth their mother, Lorelai, realized that she could not take care of 2 babies. After a lengthy conversation with the babies father, Christopher Hayden, and a visit to custody court, Hailey was taken into primary custody of her father. She grew up in Hartford loved by her father and grandparents, Straub and Francine. While Rory and Lorelai move into a small town called Stars Hollow.
