Travelling alone, separated from the group, with no means of food and shelter has Daryl on the edge. His old hostile self is creeping back. Daryl now only has one mission: to survive by any way possible and find Rick. Beth and Daryl's friendship is broken. Beth seems to be wanting something different from Daryl, something which never crossed Daryl's mind until now. Daryl finds himself opening up in a way he never did before. Beth is your typical southern belle. Blonde, blue eyes, sweet, singer. She is a good Christian girl who loves her family and Jesus. When her older brother, Shawn, offers to take her to Vegas where talent scouts await to hear her singing, she jumps at the opportunity and agrees to go. But on the way there, they stop at a hotel. One night, Beth goes to a local bar for something to eat when she meets him. The devil himself. Lucifer. But as everyone else knows him; Mac. (Ok, y'all know who Mac is so there will obviously be a lot of sex and shtuff. But I'm warning you; this is gonna be extremely kinky.)

This is one of the ways I think Coda could have ended that would have been better than what actually happened. This is AU, with Carol still outside of Grady and Eugene still lying about being a scientist and having a cure.

After the prison is lost, Beth and Daryl are separated from the rest of the group. Together they struggle to survive and slowly they discover feelings greater than friendship for each other. They learn to find strength in each other and it becomes them against the world. Will a relationship form even in the midst of an apocalypse?
