Jughead is many things. A lover of all things food, movies, reading and writing. But if one word could describe Jughead it would be 'anuptophiliac'- a lover of being single. Jughead just doesn't do romance. So when Betty hires him to be her wing-man, he couldn't be more surprised. He and Betty make a plan to win Archie, but is that all that is going on? A story of friendship in a story about love. (Originally published on Archive of Our Own.)

Everyone knows the Wyatt twins as Samantha and George, but only the two of them know each other for who they really are: Sam and Rose. The twins have always known that their genders are flipped, and they know how important it is to keep this fact a secret. With inattentive parents and no friends to speak of, this hasn't exactly been difficult so far. They go through life with two simple rules: stick together, and trust no one else. But their first year of high school brings unexpected challenges that threaten to tear the twins apart, and before long, keeping their identities a secret becomes the least of their worries. When an unthinkable tragedy occurs, they're both left to worry not so much about staying together, but more about staying alive.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked me. There that sentence hung in the air between us, and I remember now how I wasn't looking at him. How instead I looked up at the clouds that seemed to run faster than my thoughts. "Yeah, there's a word for it," I think I said. - lowercase intended. cover drawn by me.

Ari Callahan has no idea how to talk to boys -- or how to talk to anyone for that matter. Enter Zac, the cute new guy in town who won't stop texting her. But is his interest real, or does he have a hidden agenda? ***** Found as a young child washed up on the beach, 17-year-old Ari Callahan has never uttered a word out loud to anyone -- not even her adoptive family. Psychologists have diagnosed her with a condition called selective mutism, but Ari can't help identifying with her namesake character, Ariel, the little mermaid in the fairytale whose voice was stolen by a sea witch. Mermaid-obsession aside, Ari's silence makes socializing tough. She's never had a boyfriend or been asked out on a date. Not until Zac, the confident new arrival in town, asks for her number. But Zac has his own reasons for texting with Ari. He's part of a movement to sabotage the artificial music app called SirenSong, threatening to render human singing obsolete. Zac's collaborators have scoured the globe in search of a singing voice perfect enough to break the SirenSong spell, and their search has led them straight to Ari's beachside town. Will her relationship with Zac help Ari find her voice and unlock the secrets of her origins? Or will he use her and leave her high and dry? Title: Ari and Zac (formerly The Mermaid Hypothesis) Content Warning: This story contains references to selective mutism, suicidal thoughts, and early childhood trauma.

Everyone knows the story of Snow White: blood red lips, ebony hair and skin the colour of freshly fallen snow. Her vain step-mother, desperate to be the 'fairest of them all' attempts four times to have her killed, until her prince comes to save the day. But what if Snow wasn't a princess, but a prince. And the queen's antique silver mirror contained not just her reflection, but a girl. Mirror can no longer remember her name - or life - before the queen imprisoned her. All day, every day, she finds herself at the queen's beck and call; a life of endless servitude and isolation. Snowdon is approaching his 18th birthday and is an increasing threat to the queen's right to rule. And his looks are putting him in the running for her 'fairest' title too. So the queen decides the quickest way to solve all her problems is to get rid of Snowdon. Permanently. But the girl watching their every move has other ideas.

Obviously Lahalla isn't going to let this stand, but she's not sure how she'll convince her father to call it off...wait, what's that shape in the water? Mermaids don't exist outside of folklore......
