WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION Can she be herself in a one-size-fits-all world? Lori Palmer is the new girl at Bay Water High, where students prize glossy hair, beach bodies, and school spirit above all else. She misses her old school―where her talent as an artist carried more weight than she does―and longs for her old family life, before her parents got divorced and her mom reinvented herself. So Lori decides that the only way to survive the rest of the year is to blend into the background, but her plans go awry when she discovers that the most popular (and hottest) guy at Bay Water High, Jake, is a volunteer at her brother's school. When her brother befriends Jake's sister, Lori is suddenly thrust into his unfamiliar and exhilarating world of water polo, parties, and stargazing. But with her relationship with her mother deteriorating, old anxieties resurface and Lori finds a new artistic release that unknowingly ignites a powerful movement. When the authorities start asking questions, Lori realizes that finding her voice might have gotten her into a world of trouble...but sometimes standing up for what you believe in is as important as standing up for yourself.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥." I used to think I was normal. Not ordinary, but normal. Yes, I did believe that speaking and translating over twenty different languages for a living was a normal thing to be able to do, and I still do think so. However the use of the word normal is such an...enigma to me now. It all started with a sweet, charming strangely simple man I knew as Steve. Others knew him as other things. Super soldier, Captain America, but I just knew him as Steve. He helped me understand who I was. It was hard to pinpoint the exact moment when I truly became who I was. I wasn't just good old Rachel Bennett anymore, that was for sure. I was something, someone so much more now. I'd been through struggles, a million of them, physical and mental. It took me a moment to realize that a struggle is one's greatest strength. Being an Avenger was one thing. Navigating life? That was so much harder. © copyright 2017 LVNDR books ; All rights reserved. #10 in Comics - 5/16/2018

Halia never meant to lose control. She tried to warn him. She told him she was dangerous. He hadn't listened. Banished from her pack for a crime she had no choice but to commit, Halia flees the only home she's known for the harsh wilds of the eastern plains. Without the support of a pack the delicate balance between woman and beast rapidly deteriorates into one. As a mindless rogue she is no better than a rabid wolf; her sole instinct to kill. Caedus lives under the mountain with the rest of his coven, an outsider even among his own people. As his father's son he is expected to eventually lead the clan, yet as his mother's child he longs for independence. Can a werewolf who needs a pack and vampire who yearns for freedom find strength in each other? ***Cover photo belongs to Taylor324***

"Take it! Just take it!" I demanded in annoyance, springing my whole body out as I tackled Harry from behind. "For the tenth time I don't want your stupid virginity!"
