Our Imperfect Love tells the story of two teenage boys (Park Chanyeol and Byun Baekhyun) who met in one of the most cliche ways. The two boys were completely different. Baekhyun was gay, Chanyeol was Bisexual- Baekhyun was raised in a rich family, Chanyeol was raised in a poor one. The story follows through the life of Chanyeol and Baekhyun, going back to when there largest struggles were and staying where they are happy. As the two bump into each other again and again, they start to feel different about each other. Baekhyun freely admits the new feelings, Chanyeol contains it. It isn't until Chanyeol tells his father (Mr. Park) that he was bisexual and spilled his feelings that real issues spurred in- not only Chanyeol's family, but Chanyeol and Baekhyun's friendship. Will they go through it and have that "imperfect love"? Or will they bend and break- never to speak to each other again?

Chanyeol was taken in by uncle after both his parents died in a tragic car accident. But it was very unfortunate, that his uncle is known to be very scary and evil, though he doesn't hurt Chanyeol physically. He never make Chanyeol do some evil things like he does, but when Mr. Park's most trusted business partner left with all their money in their account, he was very furious. He asked Chanyeol to assassinate him. He can't say No because it's his uncle asking him this... no, his father is asking him, the one who raised him like his own. It was his first request and he will never take no for an answer. The house was tracked and Chanyeol waited for him in a dark alley. And when the perfect timing came, he shot him right in the head. His eyes were teary as if he witnessed a crime he didn't do. He couldn't sleep for days and guilt has taken over him. He ran away with everything he has and flew to a small town in a province. He can't go outside the country yet because he doesn't have any papers, so he had no choice. He wanted to live in peace...

A school boy, byun baekhyun, hardworking and also seem as nerd by other students. He stay away from other people and there is a reason behind this. He can't let his secret to expose. A big secret. But he then found his love. And he want to escape from his secret.

When Baekhyun and his father are evicted from their apartment, his father's employer, the rich yet affable Mr. Park, invites them to stay. This does not go over well with Mr. Park's son, Chanyeol, at first, who very quickly comes to dislike Baekhyun.
