Patrick was paranoid of anything supernatural and Joe didn't even believe in the supernatural, but they both agreed that Ouija boards are NOT to be played with.

Patrick snaps one day while at school and hurts another student, causing him to be sent to juvy where he meets an interestingly troubled boy by the name of Pete Wentz.

Pete felt like he had to protect Patrick from the world and Patrick just thought Pete was kind of interesting. That was it, there wasn't much else to it. But then Patrick invites Pete to hang out with him and his friends during spring break and things quickly change.
