Jaden and his friends decided to go to an art gallery one day. It was all fine and dandy until Jaden decided to explore on his own, finding himself being transported to a different part of the gallery that he didn't expect to see. He meets two people in this other world, and when they try to escape, Jaden realises only two of them can make it out and back to the real world. Just who will go on and who will stay?

High school student Emma thought senior year would be unremarkable until she meets her new neighbor and classmate Joe. She soon discovers he has otherworldly powers. He confides that he's an alien from another planet, much more advanced than Earth. Most humans are unaware of their existence due to their ability to manipulate time. Joe informs her that her father was the King of their planet, which makes her half-human/half-alien, or a hybrid, and the next in line to be Queen. He has been assigned to protect and bring her back to their planet where she will be coronated as Queen. Without her, the universe will be on a path toward destruction. All of Earth could be wiped out without her leadership. Emma's senior year is about to get much more remarkable indeed.
