A regény nem saját tulajdonom, én is csak fordítom, így előfordulhatnak eltérések és pontatlanságok az eredetivel szemben. Rúgásra emeltem a lábam, de kitért előle. Nem adtam fel és a szabad kezemmel ütöttem tovább. Ismét könnyedén ragadta meg csuklómat, átfordított és immár a hátam mögött keresztbe font karokkal a falnak lökött. Miért ügyesebb ma? „Engedj el!" Felé fordítottam a fejem. Kezével a hajamba markolt, közelebb hajolt, mintha megakarna csókolni. „Édes, azért vagyok itt, hogy tárgyaljak veled."
