Afterwards she discovered her new talents of persuasion. But after a massive argument with her team in Starling she takes off to central City to get help with her gift.

Barry closed the singularity, but he's changed. He's lost, confused. He's not the light we knew. He doesn't know how to deal with the fame that is bestowed upon the Flash, nor does he think it is deserved. He has a hard time trusting people again and has pushed his friends and family away. He just goes through the routines of life, work, the things he knows and are comfortable. But when Captain Sigh throws a new Forensic assistant in the mix, Barry's world it thrown of it's axis. Rebecca Glass was a very intelligent CIA field operative. When she first heard of STAR labs' particle accelerator, she was greatly intrigued, and made plans to visit central city with two of her best friends, not knowing she'd end up stuck in a coma for eleven months, only to find her fellow operatives dead a few days later, and that she was no longer a relatively normal, nerdy CIA agent. At first she panics, isolating herself from others, trying to figure out what exactly is going on with her. After gaining some control, she tries to figure out what she is really capable of. That is, until she realizes she is being followed by a strangely fast man.

Destiny Shadows is a journalist who works with the police department in Central City. She works with a scientist named Barry Allen. They've known each other since high school and requested to work together. They've been working with the police department ever since their internships when they were in their junior year of high school. On the night the particle accelerator is supposed to be turned on at S.T.A.R. Labs, there's a storm and the accelerator explodes. Both Barry and Destiny were in the lab catching up on work since Barry just got back from Starling City. They both get struck by lightning and end up in comas. When they wake up they have changed.
