"Her name is Hela," he replied, watching the infant lose interest in the shield and move onto something else. Hela looked up at the mention of her name and the same grin came across her face. The smile reminded the Avengers of Loki, it was clearly obvious. The child seemed more innocent, but she was clearly his daughter. It didn't take a genius to know what they were about to do. The Avengers were about to have their hands full. Loki's only daughter was taken from him when she was just a baby. Her father was a criminal and unfit to care for her, and her mother was dead, so Odin ordered Hela to be sent to Midgard. Thor automatically calls up S.H.I.E.L.D. and soon Hela is being sent there to be raised by the Avengers. How will the young girl turn out being raised by superheroes, and more importantly, how will Earth's Mightiest Heroes fair against Loki's daughter?

Kenzie Gilbert was the rebellious twin. She was desperate for attention, in hopes to standout from her goody-two-shoes twin sister's shadow. Until her parents died in a car crash. Kenzie hasn't spoken a word in months since. Then the Salvatore brothers move into town. Seventeen-year-old Stefan with a soft smile that makes her knees weak, innocent eyes like a grassy meadow shining under the sun, and a heart of gold. And the older brother, Damon with a sensually seductive smirk and diamond blue eyes like the ocean as the waves crash at the shore, and his surprising knight and shining armor acts. However, the cycle seems to continue as twin, Elena catches their attention too. But danger and darkness follow the Salvatores, which would make any girl melt under the pressure. Are both twins up for the challenge? Or will the unsaid competition make them as estranged as the brothers? Speaking of competition, both Salvatores worm their way into Kenzie's good graces. Which one will make Kenzie Gilbert break her oath of silence, and allow her to find a new definition for herself as someone besides the mute twin? ~BOOK 1 OF 8~
