Cyrus is a unconfident, dorky kid. Tj is a rude, popular jock. Two complete opposites meet, and create a whole new light for them, but will that light survive the storm?

Tj and Cyrus have been friends for a long time, but will that change after life comes crashing down and impulsive decisions catch up to them? Angst, Ambi, love notes, slow burn, aged up so they're all in high school, god tier ships, mental health, and like a whole bunch more ladies! Let's get this angst.

Tj is madly in love with Cyrus. He doesn't know if Cyrus feels the same. But when Cyrus gets texts from a secret admirer everything changes. Little does he know, his secret admirer isn't what he seems. There is a huge plot twist. Don't hate please!

Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen didn't realize how important they were to each other until they first interacted in Jefferson Middle School's cafeteria, when Buffy told TJ these words: "You have to get my friend Cyrus here, a chocolate chocolate chip muffin." That's where it started everything. Cyrus Goodman was an unathletic dude, who had a crush on Jonah Beck. He was best friends with Andi and Buffy, and thought it would stay like that forever. He was gay, and only certain people knew. TJ Kippen was an athlete who was an intimidating jerk to so many people. He was sexist, a jerk, anything "bad" you could possibly think of. They say opposites attract, however, and this story is one of many examples.

"He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, very convinced that he was just seeing things, but when he opened them again the scene hadn't changed. He was still in his bedroom, looking at his neighbour's house, and 𝘛𝘑 𝘒𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯 was still sitting cross-legged on the driveway, holding chalk in his hand and admiring the pictures he had very 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 just drawn." ~ Or the one where Cyrus discovers that there's more to TJ Kippen than he previously thought. An unlikely friendship forms between them, only for pesky feelings to become involved.

Cyrus is crushed by Jonah and Andi's kiss. TJ decides to help. Chaos (and eventually romance) ensues.

When Cyrus finds a playlist on TJ's desktop full of old love songs, he realizes that TJ has never been a scary basketball guy but rather a huge sap. TJ just wished Cyrus could realize that all of those songs remind him of a certain boy who likes chocolate chocolate chip muffins without telling him directly. With insecurities and fears almost set in stone, it's hard for TJ to admit that he has a heart aching crush on Cyrus who is trying to avoid just that. Of course, it doesn't seem like both of them are trying to get over each other when they're always together.

[ ON HOLD ] It's High School now, and Cyrus Goodman is nothing but the sidekick friend of Buffy and Andi. Tj Kippen is still the best basketball player on their school's team.
