After an apocalyptic event that thrusts the world into a new ice age, Calestia - a 17-year-old girl with a strong will - must learn to survive on a land infested with gangs, guns, and distrust. ***** Nobody knows what day it is anymore. Nobody knows the month, the day of the week...and the only way to tell time is by the slight change in the color of the sky from grey to black every twenty-four hours. If a day even is twenty-four hours anymore. The planet is dead. The people are dead. Snow falls down upon piles of bodies like the ash of a volcanic eruption. Except, the snow doesn't stop. It never does. It continues to fall and fall until you wonder if it is even possible for another flake to come down and land silently in your hair. But it does. They do. There are few survivors of what the remaining have started to call the end of the world. The Apocalypse. Few who are still brave or scared of death enough to face the torture that is living. I am one of those survivors. Book One of the Snow Series Highest ranking: #3 in Sci-Fi Watty's Shortlisted

What happens when you're locked up in a building with total strangers and you're forced to kill each other? In this spin-off, sixteen high school students are forced to answer that question. Not with words, but actions. ---- This DanganRonpa spin-off contains sixteen new characters, all of which belong to me. However, I do not own DanganRonpa or Monokuma. "Make sure you are something before you fade to nothing," is a statement that Lucky takes to heart. At Bayridge High, a prestigious boarding school on the east coast of the U.S.A., they have a legend. A legend of tortured teens, and lost souls, a legend of tragedy. Bayridge has the highest suicide rate of the country, and one of the highest cumulative GPA's. Every cautionary tale, every kid who died young in that school kept a record in the suicide notebook. Detailing their thoughts, their feelings, their everyday lives until their lives were history. And Lucky knows he's next. He finds the notebook from subtle clues dropped by a mysterious upperclassman. He expects to find stories, beautiful and tragic in their nature. What he finds is so much more. A note: This story is labeled as sci-fi. I swear most of the weird things and things that seem slightly off around lucky will be scientifically fictionally explained. It becomes very very sci fi when the huge gigantic plot twist occurs. Heroes. Ever since they showed up, people have gone soft. They're adored, worshipped. Devotion is showered upon them like rain. It's about time someone knocks them off that pedestal they stand on, someone to crush their pillars of faith. Someone like me. A villain. It's perfect. I'll be the undoing of heroes. ≠ disclaimer: very much needs to be edited, very much needs to be less corny and very much needs to be entirely rewritten by me. if you approach it as a goofy, corny, old 2015-esque superhero book then it'll be a great time. i'll be honest and say there are no pulitzers here. completed ✓ highest rank in sf: #9 cover: @narwhelly

“Fuck,” I whisper, shutting my eyes and clunking my head to the door. “Where were you going, Scar?” Ace breathes, smirking like he’s been dying to do this all morning. Might as well not lie. “I was going to hot wire your car and drive back to California, grab all my cash, fly to Europe, live there for a couple weeks, and then drink myself to death.” His smirk drops. “That’s not funny.” “Never said it was.” A quiet moment drifts through as I lazily stare at him. “You’re serious?” “Yep.” Scarlett Hunter is only 19 and has already killed 65 vampires. It's drilled into her mind that vampires are bad, and they always will be. That is, until Ace Caplin decides to enter her world via her kitchen.

"I have been shot at by people today, been chased around by people wearing hazmat suits, I overheard my boss saying he wants to kill me, and I'm now stuck with a vampire-turned-human that is cranky 24/7. All I am asking is that I get one night of sleep. One night. So, for the love of all that's holy, let me sleep in peace." Warren stared at me for the longest time, and then finally blinked. "I tuned out after you said you were shot at, you mind repeating that again?" Alexa Kay Hazelwood was on the brink of discovery. She was going to reveal to the world that the monsters that haunted little children's dreams were real. She was also going to reveal that she had a weapon to stop them. An antidote. She was going to turn every vampire in the world back to a human again. But everything started to go the opposite way. Her boss wanted her research all to himself and the vampire she found had problems of his own. She was caught between the middle of it all. She had to teach this vampire how to be human again. "All I knew about Warren was that he was born in the 1700s. He had a sister and a father. He was one of the first vampires created. His best friend betrayed him (on what, I don't know) and that his name was Ryan Caine. That's all I knew about my dear friend Warren. That, and he was moody all the time."
