Goldie lives in the mid-west in the early 1900s. She has a sick mother, a ornery little brother and a huge crush on a man who has a lot of Indian blood running through his veins. The problem lies in all the responsibilities that she has as well as two people in town who give her a hard way to go. How will she manage to get through her hardships and will she find love along the way or just more hard times...
