Emma Jacobs is like any other Californian girl who is only trying to survive high school. She’s happy with her group of friends, her brother and his wife, Caroline, and her secret talent. Emma can sing, and every Friday, she does just that. However, Emma is too shy to sing in front of anybody that may recognize her from school, so she drives to the next town over and performs every Friday at The Seaside Café. Emma is happy with her double life until there’s a bump in the road and her two lives begin to overlap just because of one boy who just so happens to work at the café. How will Emma keep her secret when the whole thing depends on Jace Parker, the school loner. And how can she keep the secrets of her demented past in the past if he is determined to pry into her history? Surely, all of her problems come back to The Seaside Café.

What if it was your text message that was sent that caused a person to get in a car accident. Then you would be me, Annabelle Robinson. My life changed when my boyfriend, Emmett, was killed because he was reading a text that I sent him. They say that it wasn’t my fault, but I’m not sure that I believe them. I was the sender of that text message. If it wouldn’t have been for me, he would still be alive. So I moved. I had to escape everyone and their sympathy and questions. I couldn’t take it anymore. I moved to a new school, and that is when everything happened. I met Ryan, the school druggie and least respected kid. There was something about him. And that something got me into a lot of trouble…

As if life wasn't hard enough being bullied and treated like garbage all the time; my loathsome, insufferable seat mate just had to come with his "secrets" and torture my every waking hour. What's the big deal you say? Nothing except for the fact that he's some insanely beautiful Greek God under those nerdy glasses. And now, he lives next door. I'm Sarah and this is my story. Disclaimer: This story was written in 2011. Just so you know.

Do you ever wonder how the authors on wattpad have such genius, original ideas?! I don't! Here's my "story" and complaints. **WARNING: WRITTEN WHEN I WAS IN THE SEVENTH GRADE, NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND/ OR TO BE OFFENDED BY** The grammar and spelling sucks too. I would delete this except the majority of the readers tell me not to. Also, if you want to give me your nasty opinion on me on PM, just get over it. I very rarely respond to them, much less read them. Keep it to yourself. There's already been a few incidents and I get it at this point. Anyways, have fun! (:
