A long time later, the gods of Danmachi were born and inherited the world that the Old Ones rebuilt. The dungeon was found but the power it was meant to contain was never noticed as it's THAT well contained deep within its near-infinite depths. It wasn't long before the first gods descended to the new world. But our focus isn't on the new world, Gekai, right now. In another distant, more peaceful world, a young man and his pregnant wife were shopping before a robber began his raid and even took his wife hostage, so he saved her while also killing the robber, though he killed him too. Awaiting judgment from the god of his world, he came to him and declared him deserving of Hell. Why? Just because he killed the robber. Thus, your tale begins as...you forgot your name...
