100 juvenile prisoners return to Earth after all humans left 97 years ago due to a nuclear Armageddon. The prisoners are sent down to the Earth as a test to see if it is survivable, after the Ark (their ship in space) has been discovered to be dying. But what they really discover, is a whole lot more...

Clarke griffin never thought she would have feelings for someone who's such an ass, but also a brave fighter. Never hight she would have feelings for someone so unapproachable, but made her desire to see him stronger. Never thought she would have feelings for a lost soul, but a protecter. Never thought she would have feelings, for Bellamy Blake.

Its 97 years after a nuclear war left nearly everyone dead and the planet simmering in radiation, all the remaining survivors retreated to 12 different space station that eventually came together to form the Arc . Pheonix Odair lived happily with her mother and father on the arc, her parents were both on the council just under Chancellor Diane. When Pheonix was 14 she met a boy named Bellamy Blake ( 4 years her senoir) who was one of the ex guardsmen on the arc, he had recently had his mother floated for having his younger sister Octavia. Meanwhile Pheonix and a her mother were under the impression that earth was survivable and along with few others new that the arc would soon come to an end. For about a year her mother would send her to mechanic school to learn how to build their drop ship where she made good friends with Raven Reyes and Monty Green (Who would later join her as the 100). On her 15th birthday her Mother who had been stealing parts from the arc's supplies to build the drop ship was desperate to get Pheonix a pressure regulator and that's when she got caught red handed. Pheonix then witnessed her mother getting floated shortly before she was imprisoned. Pheonix wondered why only her Mother was floated and not her Father and later on comes to realize that her Father had been having an affair with Chancellor Diane and claimed to have nothing to do with Phoenix or her mother. As a result Pheonix has never been able to forgive her father and has been unable to see anyone since being put in solitary over two years ago, even Bellamy.
