(For Hire: A Damn Good Kisser Book 2) Meet the new Dana Kathryn Ferrer. A little bit older and wiser, and a lot more confident, Dana-or DK, as she now prefers to be called-is the life of every party. Since he-who-must-not-be-named left her, DK has reinvented herself. Gone is the girl who's always pining for that boy. These days, DK, who manages to catch the attention of any boy she deems worth her time, gets to pick anyone she wants. She's completely over Cyriel Edrian Perez. But when she finds out that Cyriel is coming back, her perfect little world goes haywire. And when Andrei Louie Guzman starts courting her-a romantic Filipino tradition he's never bothered following for any other girl-she still won't give him the time of day. Does DK simply want closure, or could it be that she's not completely over the boy who broke her heart?

WARNING: Mababaw lang ang kahulugan ng #AFGITMOLFM dahil mababaw lang ang author. Huwag umasa. Masasaktan ka lang. The meaning is one of the mysteries that this achingly long story will reveal. Read at your own curiosity and chismosa/chismoso level. Bawal spoilers! You have been warned.

These are NOT your typical writing prompts. I find most writing prompts too general or specific to be helpful. The ones in this book are just generic enough to spark your imagination and everyone's response will be completely different. Depending on your story idea, plot, characters and writing style, the response to the following prompts will look vastly different from another writer's. How does this work? Well, when you hit a roadblock in a particular scene, play with one of the prompts and see how your character responds, what comes out of their mouth. Then, let the other characters respond to that line. Here's an example. For the following prompt, I can have a character respond one of many ways (and I literally just came up with these as I'm writing this book summary). SAMPLE PROMPT - Ask someone to leave Now, what's the next line out of your character's mouth? Is it: -- You know what, get the hell out! -- Look, I'm tired. Can we talk about this tomorrow? I'll have Peter drive you home. -- Will you please just leave! I can't do this. I can't talk to you anymore! -- Either he goes or I go. Which will it be? See how all these are very different ways for a character to essentially ask (or try to force) another character to leave? The key is to work with the response that works best for your situation. You should have a sense of what the scene is about and your character's goals, but that's all you really need! I love these prompts. You can insert them any time you hit a wall. They always seem to get my creative juices going. Sometimes I find that I've gone on to write an entire scene and I didn't even end up keeping the lines that the prompts generated! It was enough just to get me unstuck and get my characters interacting again. I hope these prompts can help others too. If folks vote and comment to let me know that they've helped, I'll post 10 prompts per chapter for the next 10 weeks. Cheers! We'll start with a chapter and a bonus one too.

When most people get angry, sad, or even happy, they cry. But not Skyler Wamego. For as long as she can remember, her tear ducts have been out of service, completely immune to grief, heartbreak, or joy. No matter how painful life gets, she simply doesn't cry. Deep down, though, she hopes that one day, someone will come along and finally break through her walls... and make her feel enough to cry. Enter Gregory Meyers, campus heartthrob, emotional chaos incarnate, and the guy with a not-so-secret talent: making girls cry. He's broken more hearts than class attendance records, and he's not about to stop. It's a reputation he's proud of. When Skyler and Gregory's worlds collide, it's not love at first sight, it's war. One is desperate to feel, the other obsessed with being untouchable. But what happens when the girl who can't cry meets the boy who makes everyone cry? Will Gregory be the one to make Skyler finally break? Or will Skyler be the one who ruins Gregory's perfect streak of heartbreak? In this wickedly funny, emotionally tangled love story, only one thing's for sure-someone's going to fall. The only question is: who breaks first?
