She was known as Enigma, the Riddler's daughter. She was a criminal, declared insane just like the rest. Arkham wasn't a bother to her more then a second home. That was until she broke, running away from her past and herself. A year later Enigma finds herself drawn back to Gotham trying to live normal, under a new name. That doesn't last long for soon she is thrown back into the world of insanity and the twists and turns in it. Can she keep both sides of her or will she became what everyone expects of The Riddler's Daughter. *Note: I don't own any of these DC characters*

I am in the much needed process of rewriting this, as it is absolutely awful, so chapters will be changing!

Alice was a kind and caring girl. She was raised by her father until a tragic car accident took him from her. Alice, then, grew up in the foster care system because her mother was drunk and unfit for watching over a child. Her favorite memory was that of her father taking her to see the circus when she was little. She remembers a red-headed boy who she meet when she was scared. That boy turned into a man and Alice saw him again when the circus came back into town years later. Except for this time his hands where red too. Red with blood. This story will not be completed. There has been too much time since I stopped. I will leave it up for now. I am sorry for those of you that wanted to see this finished. Maybe one day I will come back to it, but for right now it is done.

Jerome Valeska is presumably dead, I mean we all watched him die on live TV, right? He can't just come back.... Wrong. When Dr. Hugo Strange brought back Galavan, Fish, and many others. He brought back Jerome as well. Jerome is psychotic as ever, if not worse. And when he meets a young girl with bright blue eyes and blonde pigtails, things spiral completely out of control.

Scarlett, James Gordon's niece, met both Jerome and Jeremiah when she was young and visited the circus. They all quickly became best friends but a toxic love triangle formed, Scarlett oblivious to it all. What happens when on her birthday one night she goes missing and meets a certain ginger some years later but can't recall where she knows him from. Read to find out. (I suck at writing summaries but I promise it's so much better then it looks haha. If you read the first chapter it'll explain everything.)

Life on the streets isn't easy, especially in Gotham. Murders and thieves lurked every shadow, mafias and gangs haunted the allies and corruption oozed from every inch of the city, but I can't complain, I chose this life. As for me, resorting to stealing and robbery with my friend Cat to survive has given me a reputation to be in and out of juvie, though they can't keep an escape artist locked that long. Nobody seems to know my real name except for Cat, of course. To everyone I am just "Jane Doe", made up only in stories, but that part of my life end the day I got caught. Being captured by the GCPD was a big fall in my ego, but a door of opportunity opened for me. Then I met him and let's just say he was more than just a partner in crime.

Perhaps this is what she's always needed. A beautifully twisted person to make her realize her true calling....

Harleen Quinzel is new to Arkham... her dad thought she was crazy so he sent her there. Harleen never doing a crime. She was just how- would you sane people put it? Ah yes, Sick.
