"Say one word and I will leave you alone from now on," he murmured, "I won't object." He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, his touch unexpectedly soft on her skin. "But if you're interested, if you want to know more, say so." He let his finger travel down her cheek to her jaw, grazing her throat and leaving a burning trail on her body, and Cora parted her lips to breathe out a reply. "Please?" "Please what?" Harry asked, whispering into her ear, way closer to her than he'd ever been before. "Do you want me to take you to the deep end?" • • • When Cora meets Harry, the enigmatic owner of the Fair, she's thrown into a world of magic and mystery. Between royal intrigues, blooming wars and a whirlwind romance, she must find out who she truly is and where her loyalties lie - but she must be fast, because it won't be long before she'll be put to the test. Now she must ask herself, what is she willing to give up in order to follow the path before her? And is Harry truly the perfect man she's always believed him to be, or is there more to him than meets the eye? 29/11/21 #39 in harry 14/12/21 #118 in fiction

*CONTAINS MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT* Have you ever met someone that made falling feel like flying? ~•~~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Preview: "Do you think, if you jumped from this roof - it'd feel like falling or flying?" I ask, keeping up with our theme of asking random useless questions that we've been going back and forth with for the past half hour. I stare at my feet swinging back and forth, looking down at the alleyway behind the building; pondering the question over in my head that I often wonder too much about. I glance over to Harry when he doesn't answer straight away and he's watching me with a look I can't read. "Unless you were a bird or could fly, it would just feel like falling. Because you'd know you were going to hit the ground" he decides to answer, staring at me like he's somewhat bothered that I asked him that. I look back down at the ground, and shrug my shoulders, "I think if you didn't care about hitting the ground it could feel like flying for a few seconds." ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ STARTED 11TH MARCH 2019 - ONGOING

Alouette's hand clenches around the letter opener. The two guards at the other end of the room step forward, ready to intervene, but Harry halts them with a raise of his hand. "Don't worry." His eyes bore into Alouette's from above, and a sardonic smile curves his lips. "She won't do it." • • • The world Alouette has traded her life for is made of lies. The secret organisation that constitutes her father's legacy has fallen apart, her friend has been keeping himself locked in his room for days and refuses to talk to her, and the man she risked it all to save has taken her trust and repaid her with the ashes of her past. Worst of all, her sister is missing. Stuck in the Palace, Alouette is reeling. Between the guilt waiting to consume her, the secrets lurking around the corner, and the verses in her father's handwriting hidden in mysterious books, she doesn't know where to turn. As if it wasn't enough, the shadows of Northfair are rising, threatening to take over the little she has left. She needs to take action - but who can she trust? [BOOK TWO - read Interlude first]
