Most all of the time Deans father gets very abusive and Dean always takes every swing without a complaint in an effort to protect his younger brother. Because of this Dean began using self arm as an escape from all the crap he gets from his Dad. But things change when the Novak family moves in across the street and Dean meets Castiel Novak. One of the popular guys went to a party as usual like any other weekend. His name was Dean, Dean Winchester, the most idolized guy in his school. Girls drolled over him, guys wanted to be him. He needed to get some air, so he went outside into the garden of the house when he discovers a boy crying in the opposite corner of the garden, half-dressed, and whatever he did have on, was ripped to hell. He didn't know it then, but he'd start to come close to this shy boy, Castiel, in ways he couldn't even imagine.

Dean hasn't spoken to anyone other than his brother, Sam, in over 10 years. When he does talk to Sam, it isn't much. On his first day of 10th grade, his first year back to school in 5 years, he meets a boy. This boy wants to talk to him, but Dean just won't speak. After a while, Dean opens up a bit. Instead of saying what he wants to tell him, he uses a pencil and paper. The boy, Castiel, learns things about Dean and his family he thought he'd never find out. Until something happens... The majority of the story will be in Dean's POV, but maybe a little in Castiel's POV. I'll try to update as much as possible, whenever I get time.
