Bassist Allison Brown learns the hard way when hordes of schoolmates rush to her after "The Battle of the Bands" was announced. It also takes a turn to bad when her rival, Cindy Lane, resident pop star and incredibly rich brat, joins the tournament to humiliate Allison.
