John is a new officer in the London Homicide unit. He's teamed up with a very eccentric Blood Spatter Analyst in forensics named Sherlock. They're working together to find who killed Mary Morstan and many others and the truth will have John speechless.

John really didn't want to think about the kid sitting in the desk next to him in math class. He didn't want to have to accept Sherlock Holmes' existence, the very boy that had managed to destroy John's life for good. Revenge certainly was sweet, but John might be getting a little bit carried away when he starts to doubt his true intentions, and his true identity. Sherlock has only ever led a life of luxury, finding that as as he got older the fallacy of being normal was beginning to weigh on him. He didn't fit into the common mold of a rich man, and when it comes time for him to marry, that becomes increasingly obvious. Victor was just lucky to be alive, much less be living in the Holmes manor. His only friend had always been his only secret, and as a servant he had begun to feel special to his master's heart.
