It's my world - my life as I deal with its troubles and strife, It's my tale - my story as I reach out always searching for the glory, The throne is my home and home is where the heart is, So I'm trying every day not to be heartless as I confess my confessions in these chapters like therapeutic therapy sessions, And I know firsthand that life isn't fair, And that comes full circle since my greatest fear is that I'll die and there'd be no one around to care. •First Place Winner in the 2019 Splash Poetry Awards (March edition) •First Place Winner in the Spring Metanoia Poetry Contest •First Place Winner in the 2019 Flavoured Awards •Second Place Winner in the 2018 Victory Awards •Third Place Winner in the 2019 Rosie Awards •Third Place Winner in the 2019 (The) Champ Awards

take a long, good look into my healing heart and melodrama mind. breathe in my sweet, scented words and hold them close to your bleeding, scaly skeleton aching for emotion; they'll cradle your aching soul and sing mellow lullabies you've never even heard of. stand back and delve into my hideous self: take my broken, frail hand and i'll guide you along my compelling journey through the ever-lasting betrayal and heartbreak. never let go... not until we hit the end of this road. This is the author's first poem book. There may be some random topics on every chapters which is a bit confusing because mainly this explain about sleep disorders, teenage mood swings, and depression. This poem book contains a lot prose yet left a good inspiration for teens who had been living tough throughout the day. ( any grammatical corrections or structure suggestions are most welcome.) Poetry saved my life, I had sunken to the bottom of a sea bed, Weighed down by my strife. All the other fish swam past me. Some didn't notice, Some didn't care, To carry out a good deed. But poetry did. And it pulled me up. Back then, I used to hate water, But poetry taught me how to swim. It taught me how to use my fins. And hour by hour. day by day. I felt life getting a bit better. Poetry's job isn't over yet there are plenty of fish in the sea.
