"flowers are really beautiful, until you're coughing them up" She didn't want to. But it happened. The first time she coughed up petals, he had his first kiss. The second time, his first girlfriend. After that she lost count. She coughed up the beautiful yellow petals on a daily. Of course, she was good at hiding it. || The hanahaki disease is a fictional diseasewhere the victim has an unrequited love. The victim coughs up flower petals the color of the other person's favorite color. It can be fatal. It can kill you. The only two ways to remove it are for the love to be returned, or surgery. The surgery removes all feelings the victim had. At first it's just petals. This stage won't kill you. The next stage is coughing up handfuls and handfuls of petals at once, with the frequent appearance of whole flowers. Finally the color of the petals changes to a bloody red, and thorns start to spread within your body. The disease is extremely fatal at this point and can only be removed by a returnal of feelings. || petals™ I own the plot line, the characters, and all the events that happen in the story. I do not own the cover illustration, nor am I aware of what the japanese means. It's simply for aesthetic purposes. Plagarism will not be stood for and will result in an immediate block and report. The only thing I do not own is the hanahaki disease and/or any photos/videos inserted unless stated by me. MATURE RATING. there are suicidal themes and strong language. you have been warned.

"Hello Autumn, I don't need to introduce myself cause everybody knows who I am, but I'm Blake." How does he know my name ? He answers my unasked question "I know your name because you are a cheerleader, a beautiful cheerleader." The Cheerleader effect... I smirk cause I know what he is trying to do. "Don't bother trying cause I'm not gonna fall for you, I know what you're trying to do. After all I am a cheerleader." "But you're the unpopular one," he responds. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Meet Autumn Noelle Carson a.k.a the unpopular cheerleader. A cheerleader that is trying to hide from the popularity forest. Unfortunately, the ropes of being a cheerleader always pulls her back in to that deadly forest. Kidnappers, return of exes, accidents, and amnesia. The poor Hershey addict has to face all of this and so much more. She's not even in a gang for crying out loud! There is only one more thing that will make her life take a 360 degree spin ; a boy. A boy that goes by the name Blake Hunter and is the football team's quarterback... (Sooo not cliché) With all of this going on she should totally forget about remaining 'unpopular'. Especially if it is going to include guys fighting for heart while she's trying to study, cheerlead, and eat chocolate.. BEWARE: THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN AT A YOUNG AGE. You will find the strangest ideas, plot twists, and odd moments. However, TUC will remain as it is since it's my first story. 💕 #117 in teen fiction - 24/4/16 ------ ||[Cover by Stellakuipers]|| ☄BOOK 1 of The Popular Unpopular Series☄

Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.
