SHORT STORY For Lisa, everyday life in Brooklyn wasn't cuttin it, so that's why she was so excited to attend NYU in the fall. As for the summer, she was stuck helping her father out at his local grocery store. Every so often her goofy high school buddies would visit the store- But when this guy, Joey, falls into the clique suddenly, she felt there was something more to him. So she began to find the need to befriend him. Lisa and Joey's friendship would lead to things that neither one of them saw coming.
