(This is a fanfiction based on the book series "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare. The characters are hers, and not mine. This book follows on from the City of Lost Souls and therefore contains huge spoilers for the series. Proceed with caution if you haven't finished the series so far. It doesn't have any spoilers for City of Heavenly Fire or any of the Shadowhunter Academy series, so you're safe there if you've not quite caught up yet.) As the countdown to Christmas begins, Magnus and Alec begin preparing for the festive season. Being a Shadowhunter and a High Warlock has its advantages, but with the busyness their roles bring, December provides a welcome break. Little do they know that, owing to fate and Christmas miracles, these 25 days might be the most chaotic of their lives. After all, looking after a child is no easy business. A/N: [COMPLETE!!!!] Set after City of Lost Souls. (I'm assuming most people know what happened at that time between Malec!) :( Three weeks have passed after Magnus and Alec have broken up and both of them are broken hearted to say the least. Alec is moping around the Institute like nobody's business when Jace finally gets fed up with his Parabatai's sadistic thoughts and drags him off to a party on a hotel rooftop. There the host, Magnus, is drowning his own sorrows and trying to forget everything about the dark haired Nephilim with the captivating blue eyes. But will Malec get back together or will they forever remain apart? Find out. :)

*Completed* Alec Lightwood was your average guy. Straight A student, athletic, but had an attitude at times. Although he'd rather stay quiet than be social, like people said he was. He was a listener, but somehow he was a true leader. Magnus Bane, a very feminine bisexual. Very confident, outgoing, fashionable. He did well in school, not the brightest but not the dumbest. Just what he liked. He was very chatty and said whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. That's when Alec and Magnus first talked, senior year when Alec was tired of trying to see if he really like Jace and he was tired of being scared of being gay. They both hope this is a real relationship, and not a test.
