Before woken up, they were visited by Celestial being and told them, that she is looking for special beings that would protect this dimension and the last planet that still supports life, earth. The 12 boys agreed and offered themselves and had pledged that they will do everything to avert this impending devastation 2 years from now. In return for their sacrifice the celestial being awaken their dormant power sleeping in their blood, and each one was given an golden armor to protect themselves in the war that they would face.
