They're led by a woman who was known as Ladybug. Some people say that her beauty matched her skill in fighting. Others say that she has special powers. No one knew who Ladybug was under her mask, but they knew she had good in her heart. These are the tales of Captain Ladybug. Cat Noir, Tikki, and Plagg don't appear in this story.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng becomes entangled in a conflict between vampires and demons at her school. Both sides believe that she's the last remaining key to discovering the location of the forbidden grimoire. Whoever controls this object would have the power to control the world, as well as Heaven and the Underworld. What will become of her, and how does her family tie into this conflict as well? Marinette, a new girl at her school just returned from Shanghai after her parents were in a tragic accident. As Marinette arrives in Paris she is faced with an infamous player in her school. Adrien, the school's player is quick to notice Marinette and wants to use her to help get back at someone who hurt him in his past, Lila. As the two collide in an event, Adrien is quick to try and recruit her into his plan. Marinette reluctantly agrees and so their "friendship" begins. Marinette is very vary of the situation and simply wants wants Adrien is holding against her back. She despises players more than anything. Will Marinette succeed in helping Adrien in his plan? Will the two become more than friends, or will someone else step in? Will Adrien fall in love with Marinette? Could he even change his womanizer ways for someone new?

I turned my head around to look at him. 'Do you believe in destiny?' He looked back at me with equal intensity. 'You tell me.' The darkness of the night pressed in on us, stretching out the time for my reply. 'It's a hard thing you know.' I said instead. He sighed, the he gave me half a smile.
