Mercy Valdez is required to write 3 entries a day regarding the events of August 8th, 2016 - November 5th, 2016. But life doesn't freeze between those days, it goes on. -- Mercy Valdez was clever. She could spot a lie from a mile away, and she could outsmart even her AP teachers. She could not, however, find a way out of the 4 month period that swallowed her life whole. As a coping method, she is required to journal her life. But life doesn't freeze after a tragedy, and Mercy must adjust to her new lifestyle, easing into a new school with old friends.
