He wonders often if Alphonse hates for being stuck in the suit of armor unable to do anything but won't ask him. The Flame Alchemist sees this in Edward one day in his office wanting to reach out and help but knows Ed keeps talk small with him let alone stand him. Can Roy help him get over his guilt and bad dreams? Can he get through to the small alchemist?

With rumors about a possible civil war with Ishval floating around, Riza had to make a choice. It has come to my realization that there aren't enough dark hurt/comfort stories about Edward Elric out there. Since I love those kinds stories, (since I'm insane, apparently) I've decided to publish a collection of them here. I've always felt that there needed to be more situations in which Ed is left severely traumatized, and the ones who care about him help piece him back together. I apologize in advance for this. WARNING: some of these short stories contain explicit sexual content. I am not kidding about this being dark. If you hate seeing poor little Ed get hurt really badly, then I advise that you don't read this. The only prominent pairings in this series will be parental!royed. Every story is separate, and do not pertain to each other. All of these stories take place in the Brotherhood universe.

It's been nearly a year since Edward's rampage and then death, and the wounds of the past are slowly beginning to heal. Roy Mustang and what remains of his team have been joined by a bright eyed and easy going First Lieutenant as well as Alphonse to make up for the loss of Havoc and Fuery. Breda had recovered almost completely, and got around with only a limp and a series of nasty scars to show from his encounter. The office is about to be plunged into chaos once more to find a missing member of their staff. Will they be able to find the fearsome Hawk's Eye before it's too late? Or will the same fate that fell upon Edward fall upon her as well?

The Truth decides to send Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric back into the past for his own entertainment. When both brothers head into Resembool, they find their mother living peacefully with the two children Ed and Al. What will the future Elric brothers say to their past selves, and most importantly, their mom?

Envy, the jealous Homunculus takes a bit of an interest in his enemy when he captures him and holds him hostage when he manages to break him in one of his shape shifting forms, the alchemist's superior the Flame Alchemist. "I thought you hated that useless Flame Alchemist? Guess your feelings run deeper for him than you show? Now I know what to use against you if you try to defy me, Pipsqueak." He says to the small blonde simply with his usual taunting grin deciding to have some fun with Edward and Roy Mustang. Pairings: LustxEdward, GreedxEdward, Edvy, Royed, LustxEdwardxEnvy

Edward is usually in his Superior's face during the day, but when everyone is gone, he acts differently towards the flame alchemist that makes Roy raise a brow and question as to why he's like that. In Edward's words it's only to get better information on leads, but... Roy knows the fullmetal alchemist better, and suspects it's more than that. Could Roy Mustang be right about the small alchemist hiding more than he's actually showing?

Prostitution AU (Modern AU) Edward Elric has lost everything; his mother, his brother Alphonse and unsure if his father is still around, but he could care less since he was never around enough to remember... Or at least he forces himself to think that. He has a mental breakdown that causes him to cut ties with the only family he has left, Winry and Pinako losing any will to live, taking a friendship/ questionable relationship with Envy, who convinces him to sell his body for money. Edward is often bruised from rough clients, making him hate himself more and more by the day, but tells himself it's what he deserves for being a 'terrible brother', believing it and living an empty careless lifestyle, till he bumps into someone who can see right through him.

(DISCLAIMER: This fanfic has elements that strongly relate to a similar story called 'Morphed', by WrathandRain. Check it out, as it is amazing and they used the general beginning far more effectively than me.) Edward has been missing for just over a month, with no leads to his whereabouts in all of that time. People are starting to lose hope in finding him. All besides Roy Mustang, Edwards commanding officer, Maes Hughes, a parental figure to Edward, and Alphonse Elric, Edwards younger brother, believe that the famed alchemist is dead. When they do find the answers they seek, it is not as it seems to be. Nothing is as it should be, and Fullmetal seems to be no more, a uncontrollable and unpredictable being left behind.

Edward is sent to war. He lives through it, but is plagued by the memories. Sometimes he wonders if he should have just died. Sometimes he wonders if he should just off himself.
