**SLOW UPDATES** A Twenty six year old Gerard Way moves from his cold boring home in the North. He's leaving his home town to run with his brother to the colorful city of New Orleans. Leaving all of his college nightmares, and moving forward in his teaching career. What Gerard isn't expecting when he gets to the vibrant dirty city, is the amount of music played in the streets, and the soul the city holds. Its a magical place, and its a place where Gerard can meet new people, and maybe just maybe find someone to love. This is somewhere he can be himself. Where his late night trysts, and his sexuality can be carried out with, no eyebrows raised in his direction. New Orleans is a weird place, where he isn't the weirdest. A seventeen year old Frank Iero, plays gigs in rowdy bars on weekends, and makes his own money. He isn't splurging on drugs, or alcohol. Its for a Van, and a possible college degree. No one ever questions where he gets the money to feed them, and fix their instruments as needed. They only ask if he did it legally. It's easy money really, all he has to do is sit back and jack off. Its not like he minds doing it. He just worries about who could be on the other side. Watching.

When Franks art teacher gets pregnant, a new substitute comes to his school to take her place while she is gone. Mr Way is a very good artist and teacher who treats his students as he is their friend and not an obnoxious teacher. He gets close to his students and helps them personally with their subjects, but it gets a little illegal as he gets too close to frank. (Please take note that I am from Northern Ireland and I know nothing about the American schooling system. So some parts may confuse a lot of you but that's how I feel reading 99% of fan fiction)

*frerard* Franks the new student again and he meets Gerard. Gerard is a complete sadistic bastard. But is he hiding something.

((Basically this is one big messy gay bandom AU, features just about every ship in the emo trinity and a few more)) Frank is the only gay guy he knows, stuck in the rather restricting and conservative world of Catholic school with his two best friends and their Catholic upbringings, where his daily adrenaline hits come from smoking behind the art block with Jamia, who he reckons is on her path to being the next Lindsay Lohan. But then, things really do change, because perhaps Jamia's matchmaking abilities aren't quite as shitty as Frank reckons, and perhaps this 'social gathering' he's dragged along to, does have some benefit to him after all. And perhaps, Frank will draw a face to the name of Gerard - Mikey's older brother, who really despite living in the same town, is worlds away from the reality Frank's stuck in. And on the subject of the unlikely, will Mikey ever finally figure out that Alicia Simmons really doesn't give a fuck about croquet?
